Short description

“Author of Your Life” is game with the self-development cards which includes affirmations and tasks in six important categories: awareness, mind, spirit, emotions, body, sequel.

Educational value/ Learning Objectives

Self-growth cards include 42 affirmations and 42 tasks in six important categories:

  • awareness
  • mind,
  • spirit,
  • emotions,
  • body,
  • sequel,

helping you to reflect on yourself, your everyday life and life in general, so that you become even more aware of your internal resources, use them for your own benefit and lead your life, instead of letting external circumstances lead it for you.

Recommendations for use

  • How to use the cards?
    • Drag sequentially. The cards are arranged sequentially by topic for 6 weeks, each day with 1 affirmation and 1 task card, so you can safely pull out one card from the stack of tasks every day (or with another regularity chosen by you) – reflect, perform, write down your thoughts, insights. And one card from the stack of affirmations – tune in for the day through this, put it in front of your eyes as a reminder, write down the feelings that arise when reading this text or otherwise.
    • Trust your intuition. You can also trust your inner feelings and randomly draw one card from the stack of tasks and one of the affirmations. Or randomly pull out a task card and deliberately hit on an affirmation.
    • Choose consciously. You can go through a stack of affirmations and select the cards that appeal to you the most at the moment and use them right in front of your eyes for a certain period of time, regularly repeating the affirmation out loud or in your thoughts.
    • Play as a game with others. Involve other people (partners, family, close friends or colleagues) – in a circle, everyone draws one task card and answers the question contained in it. (Questions tend to be very deep and personal, so it is advisable to say that everyone can answer as much as they want at that moment, or skip/change the question.)
    • There are definitely other ways – be creative!

Tips and Tricks for Facilitators

How to adapt game for different groups, topics, occasions/needs
Self-development cards will suit women who like to reflect on themselves, their experiences, dream and set goals, write a journal or just put important questions in their head, use affirmations every day or only when a dose of inspiration is needed. In fact, they will work for everyone who knows that they create their own life (or wants to believe it), but sometimes an impulse from the outside world is useful as a reminder – to take care of all areas of your life, for inner peace, harmony and your wholeness.
